For those who don't get the joke, Denmark was the first country in the world to allow gay marriage.

In 1989.

Since then, their society has like, totally collapsed and people are running rampant. ;-)

Denmark is VASTLY awesome. I've not returned there since I worked there in 1998, but I seriously should. People are nice and friendly (and they like beer a lot), you can go around your daily life on a bike and it's all normal and the car drivers actually watch for you, and it doesn't get overly hot in summer, except the sort of 'hot' that involves rock festivals and lots of blond Danish girls, which are plentiful and friendly. (Dortia, should you ever read this, I have not forgotten you, and I hope the large dude glowering at us in the corner was not your boyfriend.)

Plus they have all sorts of wicked-cool Brit shows on TV.

Denmark == ♥, but you already knew that.

Eh, I just go there for the cheetahs. They make great sources of heat in the winter.
