Ow, my foot!
May. 16th, 2002 08:31 pmIn a previous journal entry, I had mentioned that I was having problems in my foot, specifically my left foot, several weeks ago.
Well, they came back. Just this past weekend, I started having pain in my foot whenever I stood or walked. I started driving into work, because it hurt quite a bit walking 3 blocks from the nearest subway station.
So, I visited Dr. K today and had him look at it. Turns out that this appears to be a pinched nerve in my foot. The inflamed area is so small that pain relievers won't help, and so deep that neither will icepacks. The only way to really heal this is to NOT use the foot, which is much harder than it sounds.
And, the running shoes I bought? They're a little tight, which isn't helping my foot any. Back to my hiking boots. *sigh*
If I sound pissed off the next few days, this would be the reason why. :-(
