Besides nobody seems to be putting videos behind cuts, which is very annoying because flash steals the focus of the mouse wheel events (at least in Firefox, at least in Linux), so I cant smoothly scroll through my friends page =P
Interesting. In the G4 clip, they said that a repair kit would cost $50 and Nintendo refuses to acknowledge the problem. Judging from your link, not only are the things under a manufacture's warranty, but Nintendo will fix it for free. I wonder if they over looked that, or simply neglected to mention it to boost ratings. (Come now, this is G4 and they do suck 90% of the time.)
Besides, cracked hinges are one thing, total abuse is another. O_o Maybe a regular DS would have withstood some of that, most most handhelds would break under that abuse. I'm sure not even a PSP would survive that stomping too well. O_o
