Well, it seems whenever you get an extremely large group of folks together, some of them are going to be looking for some...ahem...after-hours activities.

Every group that loudly proclaims its moral high ground is a group trying to hide its iniquity. Those with power are constantly tempted to abuse their power.

So it makes sense that if you put together a whole bunch of people who claim to lead the country in moral status, and who have the power to make anyone they want bend over and take an entire police squad.... then of course they're going to get drunk, trash their accomodations, and screw anything that even pretends to sexiness around them. And they'll do it to extremes that outshine certain rock stars who are known to live lives of excess.

Furries, on the other hand, tend to be one of the best-behaved, most pleasant, least damaging groups a hotel can host. Even if there are ten thousand of us, thus providing plenty of room for the visibility of that one percent or less who happen to be noisily destructive louts.

Yup! I remember at Anthrocon last year, hearing a story about a tattooer's convention or something, at which the attendees were so rowdy that the cops showed up more often than the pizza guy. Then this year at MFM, someone told me about the religious conventions, during which you've never SEEN so many hookers walk through those doors!
