Furs the Philly area might notice Blaze in the video. He describes how merely drawing his weapon saved him from being gay bashed by a group of homophobes.

For those of you who have never fired a gun, come to a Pink Pistols meet sometime. They'll teach you basic gun safety and let you fire some of the smaller weapons. If you still don't want to carry, that's cool. But at least you'll know how to use a gun properly. :-)

I have a California Firearms Permit, I would love to join a group like this, just not enough time I suppose,
I am licensed in .38, .357, and 9mm
This also means I have passed the states minimum guidelines for carrying the wepon on duty.

Of course, I don't know all the details of the situation, but I should note that one can, in some states, break the law by drawing a weapon even when threatened. "Brandishing" is illegal here in Virginia, which is kind of silly since open carry is legal and concealed permits are incredibly easy to get.

So basically, you either run away or kill someone who is threatening you. The middle ground can get you in trouble. Kind of a stupid system.
