Earlier today, Dublin 98 FM did an interview about the Furry Fandom with
unclekage. (They originally contacted me, but I don't make the best spokesman, so I referred them to Kage. :-) )
Thanks to Audio Hijack, I managed to capture the stream to disk. It is available for a short time:
http://www.claws-and-paws.com/files/Dublin_98_FM_Interview_with_Uncle_Kage_November_8th,_2006.mp3
The file is about 14 Megs and the interview lasts for about 9 minutes. Be sure to listen for some amusing commentary from the hosts after the interview.
[Update:
omnibahumut made a transcript of the interview. It can be read in his LiveJournal.]

Date: 2006-11-09 11:48 am (UTC)You have a certain finesse when dealing with the media that seems to come naturally to you.
Regardless of how deserving we are or are not of you, we are lucky to have someone as talented and intelligent as you to represent us to the media.

I saw you on Kage`s post about the radio show and after checking out your page, noticed that you run Claws and Paws. That was actually one of the very furst furry sites I visited when I joined the fandom. I was just like "whoa! No way!" One of those reactions ya know? Plus you sound like an interesting person yourself.

Date: 2006-11-09 09:45 pm (UTC)Mind if I crosspost this interview to my personal Journal? Kage does a fantasic job explaining the fandom....much better than I ever could.
Also, do you have any problems with my downloading a private copy of the interview to my laptop?
