Cancelled my trip

gizaMy foot got worse last night, so I decided to bump my doctor's appointment up to today. Of course, this means that I was not able make my trip down to Maryland today. :-(
So, I ended up seeing Dr. K again this morning, and this time I received a shot of cortisone in my foot, which is supposed to shrink down the nerve. He said that I should feel improvement in 24-48 hours, and then the nerve should slowly heal over a period of weeks.
Of course, this means I'm basically going to be stuck in my apartment over the next several days, slowly lettering my foot get better.
Man, this sucks. :-(
