Cancelled my trip

My foot got worse last night, so I decided to bump my doctor's appointment up to today. Of course, this means that I was not able make my trip down to Maryland today. :-(

So, I ended up seeing Dr. K again this morning, and this time I received a shot of cortisone in my foot, which is supposed to shrink down the nerve. He said that I should feel improvement in 24-48 hours, and then the nerve should slowly heal over a period of weeks.

Of course, this means I'm basically going to be stuck in my apartment over the next several days, slowly lettering my foot get better.

Man, this sucks. :-(

*snugs* I expected that you would probably need the shot. Knowing you, there was no way you were going to stay in one place for enough of the time for it to heal without help.
