Fang, Claw, and Steel comes to an end

Earlier tonight, I found a package in my mailbox from Canada. Realizing that it was probably the latest issue of Fang, Claw, and Steel, I ripped it open, and saw this:



It'll be sad to see FCS be discontinued. But I know that sometimes things change in our lives, making it more difficult to move forward with volunteer commitments. It is my understanding that Terry Wessner edited and published FCS entirely in his spare time, which is quite noteworthy.

For those who haven't read FCS, back issues are available for purchase. If you're interested in lycanthropes, it's worth a read.

It's sad to see one fanzine after the other die. When it came to written content, I always preferred it printed on dead trees. There's gigantic story archives online nowadays ... but no editors to make any picks .. and hell, no good editing at all. Just the contents of thousands od uninspired minds digitally hurled into the bitbucket. Just sad.

(And even Sofawolf are dropping their regular anthologies.)

I didn't even realize this existed, it looks sweet. Is the entire 25 issue one long story, or is it a sequence of short ones that you might be able to start somewhere with a random issue?

No, it's a collection of short stories, artwork, and comics.

Going from memory, about half the stories are stand alone, while the other half are multi-part, continued through multiple issues of FCS.
