I saw that a few months ago, and tried to forget it existed. I didn't even have to click it—when I saw the filename, it put me right off my lunch. So vivid. So painful.
Sounds like a case of professional jealousy. Shatner always was jealous of Nimoy's talent. He must have been trying to destroy him, there's no other explanation.
I heard this a few years ago on the 30th anniversary Dr. Demento CD that was playing in a music store I walked into. I immediately bought the copy that they was in their CD player...this song was like half the reason. I think it's GREAT...so there.

and really, though it is silly, its not ALL that terrible, and Nimoy has LIMITED singing talent.
