MagFest 5 wrapup

I'm just killing some time at MagFest while I wait to be taken to the train station...

This was my first con that I ever worked specifically as security. It was lots of fun doing the badge checking and general roving around the hotel. The attendees here at MagFest were a friendly bunch, and they were only too happy to show us their conbadges when coming through the checkpoints.

We had to deal with a few drunks during the con, but it was nothing that hasn't ever happened before. Remember kids: Beer, Red Bull, and Gin do NOT mix very well.

The staff at MagFest were a pleasure to work with, and seemed happy to have us around to handle security and operations issues that came up.

Some local furs came by to visit the con, among them: film2edit, lockemaison, golum, and toracub. It was nice to see you guys.

Overall, I enjoyed MagFest. If they hire us again next year, I think I'll come back.

It's the smaller dragons that you have to watch . . . they just can't handle their booze.

Predicting the future is always hard, because it hasn't happened yet. :-)

But assuming we do Magfest again, we'll we asking you back on staff.
