Actually, getting obscenely drunk is the best way to deal with PHP. I was forced to recompile yesterday (thanks to a new board software) and needed to rebuild all the apache modules, too (with apache mysteriously segfaulting all the time) - but once I got properly wasted and approached the problem it worked fine! Now if I only remember how I did it in the first place....

Next time: Why BSD and LSD share two common letters.
