My car hyperventilated today
May. 16th, 2003 11:46 pmI had an interesting day today. On the way into work, my car's "Service Engine Soon" light came on. So I did a U-turn and headed out to the Saturn Dealership. It turned out that one of the oxygen sensors on my car had failed. The service guy explained by saying that the car's engine could then 'hyperventilate" by taking in too much air or not enough. This would cause poor gas mileage, and possibly minor problems with the engine. Fun.
So, after the dealership determined this, then they told me that they didn't have the part and had to go get it, which would take another hour. Finally, after 2.5 hours of waiting there, I made it out. I then worked from home, which wasn't so bad either.
I'm going on a little road trip this weekend, so I won't be back online until Sunday night. Seeya all then!
