Which brings me to my next question....How can you get shot in the head and *not* know it?

I can totally understand it being too costly to remove a bullet, but to not know you got shot...

my guess would be she knew she was shot but probably thought at the time it was just superficial..

and remember she's over 80 and chinese..

there,s the possibility she was living in a village or something and they did'nt have the technology to see that she had a bullet in her brain..

and the thought that someone could EVEN survive with one is something we would'nt even consider..

so I guess circumstances made it so..
