JamesNintendoNerd does Transformers: The Movie

I am of course talking about the original Transformers Movie, not the new one.

This review does contain a fair bit of spoilers, but if you've seen the movie and were interested in picking up some trivia about it (or just bringing back old memories), the review goes into detail about some of the actors, songs, the music score, and especially the foul language. :-)

He forgot mention Eric Idle's voice acting, though. :-( Also of note was Robert Stack of Unsolved Mysteries fame.

What is also troubling is that I could identify each and every song that was played in the background. Even the instrumental ones. o.O

Ummm WTF? there isn't any scrolling text on my version of the movie!??! Starts up with Unicron coming around the red giant and goes after the planet. then after the credits it goes directly to the moon base. So WTF? Is there another version of the movie out there?

Other then that great review. I own the soundtrack and still listen to it once a month at least.

The evening of July 4th we need to play this movie in Con Ops :x)

I'm up for playing the movie, but not in Ops. It would be a little inappropriate for reasons I'll be happy to go into in person.

LOL, funny you mention Robert Stack. I just finished watching the movie Airplane, and was annoyed with myself because I so recognized the actor and voice in that movie, but couldn't remember the name or the place. Yes, it was Robert Stack from Unsolved Mysteries that he is better known for.
