On the train ride back from Confluence tonight, I bumped into neighbor A. We chatted about our weekends, and I had mentioned I was out in Pittsburgh. He asked what for, and I mentioned Confluence. I also mentioned Anthrocon having been out there a few weeks prior at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

It turns out that my neighbor knows the architect who designed the DLCC! Who'd have thought?

Also, I got a flier in the mail today for a local Target that is opening up. Gee, I wonder where that might be...

You know, this might sound retarded, but I honestly miss that hotel. I have yet to see what AC is like since it moved into the DLCC, but I have a lot of memories from the old hotel.

I hope the curse of the constantly breaking shit (elevators) gets passed on from the hotel to Target, cause I actually liked that cozy hotel more than the convention center, and am annoyed that Target took it over.

There aren't even any surrounding structures to worry about. Just blast the damn thing and truck the remains away. Seems they're spending a lot of money to do it the old fashioned way....

Yeah, I heard about the upcoming Target grand opening on the news. I think a bunch of fursuiters should show up for the grand opening, and say "isn't this Anthrocon?" :-D
