My father just got on Facebook.

Unbelievable.

This is the same guy who used to freak out when I used to belong to dozens of different BBSes at age 16.

Anyway, he can be found on Facebook as "Thomas Muth". If y'all want to friend him, feel free! He's at home recovering from ankle surgery, which means he has to be off his feet for a few months. I'm sure he could use interesting and creative ways to pass the time.

Yeah, uh, I let my Aunt Norma (55norma) in, because she worries enough about me (in a good way) that she wants regular e-mail updates, so she can just read LJ instead. It's fine with me, she's very open minded and has a good sense of humor—I don't know what the fuck she's doing in this family.

I ended up making my LiveJournal entirely friends-only (before it was a mix) when my sister decided it would be okay to tell my parents not only the contents of my Facebook page, but my public LJ entries too, which they then accused me of e-mailing to relatives. o.O whatever.

I still get touchy when someone comes in the room, harkens back to when I was fifteen and didn't have my own computer...ah, well. I'm outta here in a matter of weeks! :D

Just yesterday one of my friends flipped out about me being on Facebook given about how much I bitch and moan whenever anyone asks me to join whatever social networking site is 'in' this week. I mean seriously, how many of these things do we need? PICK ONE AND STAY PUT, PEOPLE!

Hell will freeze over when my mother joins LJ, Facebook, or some such. My mother is a technophobe, and is the type of person who pretends things don't exist because she can't/doesn't want to handle them. She also freaks out when she hears "crap" on television.

I have a lot of fun talking to her sisters about her. They were awesome earlier this year when I was dealing with my parents learning the truth behind my frequent trips to upstate NY.
