Date: 2007-12-07 04:04 am (UTC)Depending on what meighborhoods the guy might travel through (assuming honest salesman), I can see having a weapon in the car or on my person might not be a bad thing.
I was surprised by two facts. 1 a litte and 1 a lot. I know that some ammo is illegal, but was unaware that hollowpoints were in NJ. Of course I live no where near NJ so that is not something I need to know. I do know the laws in my own area. Second was the fact that he had handcuffs and that was also apparently illegal. I'd never heard that before. Never even thought to look up the laws in my area. I do own a pair of police issue handcuffs, but they were given to me by an UnderSheriff where I used to live, so I am assuming that at least there it was not illegal to own them.

Draw your own conclusions about his clue level. :-P
