Incidentally, for those folks who were seeing form validation errors when trying to post to the forums, this seems to be a direct function of load on our site. And with record load comes higher numbers of such errors. I will be investigating other webhosting options in the near future.

Heh. I suspect it's a configuration issue of some sort with PHP. Drupal does some pretty serious stuff with sessions, and I think that we may just be outgrowing the configuration. :-)

Next stop is (at the very least) a virtual box that I'll have root on and can do whatever I want in terms of configuration.

Oh, and Nginx (http://nginx.net/), too.

I was stressed from the long drive home(10hrs) and still irritable about having to work the next day, so I have no idea how my 'tirade' came across. Huh, I would have figured higher traffic on weekends, but the peaks are all mid-week. Maybe furries all work on weekends? There's the obvious trend towards higher traffic as the con approaches, with a drastic spike the day before the con when everyone hits the web page looking for driving directions. :-)
