Morons of the day: NPR
Jun. 19th, 2002 03:12 pmSo, I was reading Slashdot during lunch today, and happened across this. It seems that NPR has decreed that nobody else is allowed to link to their site, unless they fill out this form to request permission.
Well, golly gee. I'd sure hate to link to them without their permission. God forbid, I might actually direct more traffic to their site. And we all know what that might lead to. That's right, someone might actually buy something from their store, or perhaps find a station nearby. The horror!
I think I'll be sending ombudsman@npr.org a little e-mail shortly, explaining how silly and pointless their policy is...
