How binary numbers work

For those who are unclear how binary/base-2 numbers work, how "bits" are added, and the like, some guy made this neat little video that shows had numbers are represented in base-2 systems, how addition works, and what happens when the number computed exceeds the number of bits:

All I could imagine when they got to the overflow part was that they should've had a part to keep a carry bit!
