RIP Dark Wolfie, 1968-2009

He's gone. His heart stopped at approximately 6:25 am on December 15, 2009.

Thank you all for your love and support. I'll let you all know about any arrangements as soon as I know what's going on.

He loved us, and we loved him.

For those who were unaware, Wolfie had been in hospital for the last 6 weeks or so. He was getting better for awhile, but sadly took a turn for the worse over the last couple of days.

Wolfie worked on Anthrocon's publications staff the last few years. He was 41, and is survived by his wife, tashabear, and several cats.

I dug up this picture of him from Anthrocon 2007:



No word yet on funeral arrangements. I'll share those when they become available.

Please mention to Kage the next time you talk to him if it would be possible to have a memorial service at AC for Wolfie, similar to that which was held for Furp. I know there are many for whom they will not be able to attend any religious service for him and would give the community a chance to once again come together and share our memories for one of or own. Thanks

I can't remember if I ever met the guy, his face looks vaguely familiar, there were a lot of furs I met in the early days when I got into the fandom. I'm sad to hear of his passing, though it's nice to know he had a lot of friends who carry fond memories of the guy.
