gizaI spent a good chunk of Saturday at the office again. I made some major progress on the project that I was working on, and in the absence of any other significant problems, it may actually be ready to use on our servers sometime soon!
Sunday was an equally busy day, though not at the office.
- I paid off all of my bills for the month, and next month's rent.
- The fluorescent lights in my kitchen went bad the other week, so I picked up some new bulbs from the hardware store and replaced them.
- I picked up some adhesive hooks and installed on of them so I had a place to hang my bathrobe. :-)
- I picked up some silicone spray and lubed up some squeaky doors and my computer chair.
- Somewhere in there, I also hit the gym.
- I cleaned out my car, windexed the insides of the windows, and used some warm water to clean a gooey mess out of my cup holder that was formerly spilled coffee.
I'm glad I did all of that, because as I was finishing up yesterday, I get a phonecall from my mother. Turned out that she and my father decided to go driving around that day, and wound up in the area, so they stopped by for a bit. We chatted, I gave 'em an Anthrocon conbook ("you're coming to the con next year, right Mom?"), and grabbed some dinner before they headed back home.
So, all things considered, the weekend went by pretty quick. Next weekend I should do nothing but play my Play Station 2. :-)
