I forgot to mention that we also watched Jesus Christ, Vampire Hunter over the weekend. That's one crazy movie.

In other news, that whacko judge down in Alabama gets his just desserts. He was charged with ethics violations for refusing to move his precious Ten Commandments monument even after a higher court told him to do so. It's kind of sad that it came down to this, but then again, he didn't have to be such a jerk about things. Personally, I wouldn't have minded if that monument remained there, so long as other faiths could have their own monuments. It would be kinda nifty to see a monument to the Koran or other items of varying faiths.

> The difference between the Ten Commandments and the Koran is people don't justify
>the Christian bible to kill hundreds of people

I know of some anti-abortion whackos, er, activists, who might disagree on what the bible lets them do.

It's close minded attitudes by Christians about 'other' religions that gives Christians a bad rap nowadays. Wanton religious persecution and discrimination is NOT an admirable trait.

Learn something. (http://answers.org/cultsandreligions/islampeace.html)

Fact of the matter is, I HAVE Muslim friends, people who practice the TRUE religion of Islam. People appalled by the actions of 9/11 and in the Middle East. People who absolutely condemn the actions of terrorists. GOOD People. GOOD people who were then hurt, endangered and wrongly discriminated against following the events of 9/11. GOOD people who lost their friends, family, jobs and homes because of senseless hate based not on their character but on their religion.

And before you jump up and say it was actually racial discrimination because of their Arabic descent and not religious discrimination...they were also 100% Caucasian.

You cannot blame any religion for the actions of insane zealots, be they Christian, Muslim, Catholic, Pagan or anything. Terrorists act independently or with the support of some crazed wannabee prophet. Just because someone says they act in the name of their religion means nothing about that religion, unless the founding texts of that religion or the majority dogma of that religion agrees with them.
