Weekday, weekend, weekday
Nov. 18th, 2003 10:54 pmI guess I should start this LJ entry at last Thursday. The big thing that went on that day was me doing a last minute registration for Midwest Furfest, which is this coming weekend!
On Friday evening, I met up with
film2edit,
tonyringtail, and a few others and we saw They Might Be Giants play a few songs at the Borders bookstore in Philly. Afterwards, they signed autographs for people for free. So I picked up a copy of their first book, Bed Bed Bed and got it autographed. Nifty! We then walked all of across the street to the Olive Garden and dined together. As an added bonus, I was able to park at the Ritz Carlton's parking lot which had valet parking! (I hate parking packed garages :-)
I spent Saturday at the office, since the workload is still awfully high. When I got out of there, I drove up to Allentown to visit my parents' place and spoil their cat. (Right about now, he's probably begging them for more catnip, ha!)
I returned home on Sunday and didn't do much productive stuff that day. I played a lot of Xenogears, and am still working my way through the game. I also began packing for MFF, since I like to pack for big events a few days in advance.
Monday and today have been pretty uneventful. Just work, gym, and the usual online stuff.
I can't wait until Thursday, when I fly out to MFF!

Date: 2003-11-19 07:39 am (UTC)My parents used to own the Duncan Donuts shop down the street from the A-Treat bottling plant on Union Boulevard. Bottling guys used to come in all the time for donuts and stuff. :-)
