Recent Happenings

Over the weekend, I visited phildafeline and got to spend some time with him. We saw Mr. Deeds, which wasn't a bad Adam Sandler movie, then chowed down on some sushi and watched more Adam Sandler back at his place. Overall, I had a great weekend.

Work has been fun lately. I've been working on a bulk mailer so we can send e-mails to thousands of customers in one go, without wasting Gigs of space in the mail spool. However, I've been having to do lots of tweaking because of all of the different mail servers out there. Then there's the morons running DNS servers who don't seem to know what an MX record is. Grrr...

My foot's still be bothering me a bit. What's worse is that the padding that my pawdiatrist put in my shoe is starting to cause problems elsewhere in my foot. Not good. So, I'm going to see a physical therapist later this week about the problem. I already cut my trip to Feral short, though. I'll be arriving on the 21st and leaving on the 25th. Not like I'll be able to walk around Toronto this year. :-\

Let's see what else is new... Hmm... I've started listening to classical music while working. We have a small office, and I need something to drown out the noise from other people talking on the phone, etc. Metal or techno would work, but it's not very easy to concentrate when I hear Judas Priest screaming, "Breakin' da law! Breakin' da law!" over and over, because I'm tempted to do the same. ;-) Classical music is a lot less distracting, though. And there is research to support that.
