Yeah, but if you send me a card, then I have to send cards back! And that's no good, because I don't send cards to people. I'm too lazy.

I bought a bagfull of cards at the hallmark store once, several years ago.  they have all been used since then.   I have absolutely zero motivation to purchase and send more cards.
