One of my pictures made Something Awful!

So.. I was poking around Photoshop Phriday on Something Awful, and I noticed that one of the pictures on the second Photoshopped pic on this page looked rather familliar...



This is the original picture from my website. It was taken in the parking lot of The Yorkdale Shopping Centre in August, 2000 in Toronto, a day or two before Camp Feral was to be held. The time the picture was taken was about 8 PM.



And here is the after picture, which appeared on Something Awful earlier today.





Needless to say, I find it amusing that someone out there thinks my photography skills are so cool to actually use one my pictures (and a non-furry one, at that!) in their submission. w00t!

Yep. It was about 1.5 months after the Summer Solstice (http://scienceworld.wolfram.com/astronomy/SummerSolstice.html), and the sun had just set a few minutes before the picture was taken.

Also note the decorative ring of haze around the horizon };>. Pretty much a year-round fixture.

Eh, I was walking across the parking lot of the Yorkdale mall at night, thought it would make for a neat picture with the perspective on the lines and like, 500 feet of asphalt in front of me, so I took it.
