New Year's

gizaNew Year's kicked ass this year. I went to a party at Canus' (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
deninwizard's) place. In attendence were about 10 people in total, including some non-furs who were pretty cool. The folks who had LJs included swiftfoxfire and inaquara. Gangrel's Progeny was also in attendance, w00t!
It was the first time in a long while that I stayed up for 24 hours in a single stretch. We did the usual furry thing: eating, watching movies, and lots and lots of chatting. I showed One Hour Photo to the group at one point, and I fear I broke a few peoples' brains with it. :-) Canus's parents were also pretty cool to us, and I had a geek session with his father in which we talked about Ham Radio and wireless technology in general.
That was a fun New Year's and I hope for more like that. Mad props go out to Canus for organizing the party!
