In other news, Dad was discharged from the hospital on Saturday. He's at home recuperating from the surgery. This means he's wheelchair bound, but can otherwise do whatever he wants to. The last time he was in the wheelchair, it took the cat a few days to learn how to dodge the wheelchair. We'll see how long it takes him this time. :-)

I drove up to HellAllentown last night to visit Mom. She's on demerol now and feeling much better. The doctors gave her solid food yesterday for the first time since her admittance on Tuesday night. She was actually sitting up in a chair and fairly coherent which is good. She will probably have her gall bladder removed real soon now.

I will be leaving for Anthrocon on the evening of Tuesday, July 3rd. Please do not be offended if I am not very responsive to IM/email in the next day or so.
