Idiot traffic designers in Miami LOVE to have some streets with stop signs every two blocks. Four-way stops, too, which means they are only there to slow traffic.
It is frustrating as hell to drive down one of these streets. I'm frequently doing rolling stops by the end of the series because it's so annoying.
Not to mention a waste of fuel and wear on the transmission and brakes.
So yeah, something like would likely annoy me more than make me laugh in that situation. :)
My campus is covered in signs that read something like "iTunes Song: $0.99, DMCA settlement: $4000. Illegal downloads aren't worth it." Who knows if this sort of campaign does any good, but I guess it is entertaining :P
A bit further up the road from me in Bridgewater (small rural town) I did notice a similar sign under a stop sign that read "Report Agressive Driving (203) XXX-XXXX. It was official.
