Heh huh huh, that was cool.
Jan. 20th, 2004 11:59 pmWhile having a chat with one of my neighbors tonight, I gave her an extra Anthrocon 2003 conbook that I had laying around and told her, "This is from that convention that I told you about." So she started asking questions about what exactly the con is. I explained to her about the Artists Alley, the Dealers' Room, the Guests, the Charity Auction, and the rest of the stuff that goes on. She seemed rather interested by it all, so I showed her some pictures that I had taken at AC 2001. She thought the picture of Fursuit Twister was the neatest thing.
And now she's thinking of coming to the con this coming year.
And that would be one more person who isn't furry, yet knows about it and thinks it is a pretty neat thing. People who are not part of our fandom, yet willing to stand up for it is the most valuable asset we could hope to have.

...and yet more good news.
